CEILING FAN INSTALLATION
IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS
We make getting a new ceiling fan installed easy. Here’s what to expect when you choose us.

Step 1
Choose Your Fan
Already found a fan you like? We can install your customer-supplied fan. If you need help choosing one, tell us about the room and we can recommend a suitable fan.

Step 2
Get a Clear Quote
Send us a photo of the existing light or fan and let us know where you’d like the new fan installed. We’ll confirm the price and let you know if anything needs checking on site.

Step 3
Professional Installation
A licensed electrician will install and test your fan, set up the remote where applicable, and show you how everything works.
Whether you’re replacing an old fan or installing one where a light is now, we’ll help you get the right setup for your room.
Frequently Asked Ceiling Fan Questions
How much does a ceiling fan installation cost?
Installation of a customer-supplied fan starts from $180 + GST when replacing an existing light or fan. The price depends on the number of fans, their locations and whether extra wiring or support is needed. Send us a few photos and we can give you a clearer quote.
Can you install a fan where I currently have a light?
Yes, in many cases. We’ll check the existing wiring and whether the ceiling has suitable support for a fan. If extra work is needed, we’ll explain it before going ahead.
Can you install a fan I’ve bought myself?
Yes. We install customer-supplied ceiling fans, including models with lights and remotes. Have the model details handy when you enquire so we can check what’s involved.
Can you supply the ceiling fan as well?
Yes. If you tell us the room size, style and whether you want a light, we can suggest some options and quote for supply and installation.
Should I choose an AC or DC ceiling fan?
DC fans are a popular choice because they’re generally quiet, energy efficient and often come with a multi-speed remote. We can help you choose a fan that suits your room and budget.
Will the new fan cover the old light fitting?
It depends on the size of the old fitting and the new fan’s canopy. Occasionally, screw holes or marks remain visible and need patching or painting. Photos of the ceiling help us flag this before installation.
